WoW

Today i had great fun on WoW. This guy named Parol decided to tell me that he had repoted my name "thesponge" becuase it went against the RP server rules. i was forced to change it to "sponge". but i decided to see how far i could take it. I bugged this guy for about an 1 1/2 till he finnaly quit, But i didnt stop there i KEPT going. I screamed insults, called him a noob whale and a boon and such... i followed him around and spammed him until he reported me again here is the convo that ensued. a guy recorded the fight and the link to the file is down below.

GM-"Greeting sponge. This is GM krynore. How are you today?

me-"not so good"

GM-"im sorry to hear that, what is wrong?

me-"do you have to talk in proper english?"

GM-"it is always good practice."

GM-"I was just contacting you to warn you not to harrass other player, certain actions will be taken if you continue."

so i tell him the story...

GM-"i see please refrain harrassing other player, im sorry your name was deemed inapropriate"

me-"..."

me-" i dont care about the name i just hate that this guy parol is acting like a little snitch and reports for every little rule. Right now there is a guy next to me in violation of the same rule i was. Do you think he even knows? he jsut wants to play not worry about his name being 2words put together.

GM-"I'm just giving you a fair warning."

me-"ok, fangy wants to know when he is going to get his soul back"

gm-"thank you for playing world of warcraft, have a nice day!"

Also I then recieved this e-mail.

But i have this to combat it

Role-Playing realms can either be Normal realms or Player vs. Player realms. When a Role-Playing realm is Normal it is called RP; all game mechanics are the same as on a Normal realm. When a Role-Playing realm is a Player vs. Player realm also it is called RP PvP, and again, all game mechanics are the same as on a Player vs. Player realm (for example, on an RP PvP realm you still can not attack members of you own faction even if it would sometimes make sense from a role-playing point of view).

Pros
  • If you want to create a "real life" for your character, a Role-Playing realm gives you the best opportunity to do that.
  • You can count on many other players to support you by role-playing their characters too.
Cons
  • There are no automatic game rewards for role-playing, and no game mechanics are altered (if you give a rose to a felhound it will still try to eat you).
  • Not everyone will act as you would like and the experience can sometimes be frustrating.
Sentence to remember: If I choose to play on a Role-Playing realm, I will act and speak as my character should in the World of Warcraft setting.

So i guess i broke the rules and didnt at the same time!!!

I do not suggest anyone to do this... i only did it cuz this guy really pissed me off. hopefully ill get to bug him in the future and probably get banned. plz dont pull a sponge and do this. Rofl and blizzard would probably say that..."makes our jobs harder", in my opinion i gave the GM's something to do.
